Traxxys Innovation & Sustainability, located at Adenauerlaan 17, 3446 HS Woerden, the Netherlands is responsible for advising clients on matters of innovation and sustainability. In the context of the General Data Protection Regulation (AVG), you can read on this page which policy Traxxys applies with regard to privacy, personal and company data.

What Traxxys does as an organization

Traxxys consults a wide range of companies and institutes based on expertise in Innovative and/or Sustainable / circular Manufacturing Processes and in novel Energy Supply, Storage and Conversion Systems.

Personal and company data that we process

In order to be able to advise our clients properly and to be able to carry out the consultancy work, not only company data, but also personal data are processed. We process these data because you use our services and/or because you provide these data to us. The data will only be used for the purpose for which you have given it. Company data – content related

Content related company data are always covered by Non Disclosure Agreements (NDA’s). These NDA’s can be one- or two-way. Invariably NDA’s are agreed upon and signed both by officially authorized representatives of Traxxys and the Client before any data transfer takes place. These NDA’s comprise precise procedures concerning data handling, storing and erasal. Traxxys follows these rules. Since NDA’s are tailormade to the wishes of the client, Traxxys cannot give precise details on how company data are generally handled, other than that this handling always is in compliance with signed NDA’s.

Purpose and basis of data processing

Traxxys processes your personal and/or company data for the following purposes
– Being able to give good advice to the proper people inside your organization
– Sending invoices and handling payments
– To be able to call and/or e-mail if necessary for the performance of our services
– To inform about changes to our services
– Processing data that is required by law, such as data that is necessary for our tax return

Retention period

Traxxys stores your personal data in compliance with the NDA signed. We store your general company data for a period of 7 years, the retention period of the tax authorities.

The retention period of our consultancy reports is 5 years in order to be able to explain our working method and the execution of the work in the event of any discussion.

Sharing personal and/or company data with third parties

Traxxys only provides your personal data to third parties if this is necessary for the execution of our agreement with you or to comply with a legal obligation.
Information about work performed, business processes, working methods and otherwise, as well as information about persons, obtained during the execution of an assignment will not be shared with third parties, unless explicit approval has been obtained.

Cookies, or similar techniques, that we use

Traxxys does not use cookies.

View, modify or delete data

You have the right to view, correct or delete your personal data. In addition, you have the right to withdraw your consent to the data processing or to object to the processing of your personal data by Traxxys and you have the right to data portability. This means that you can submit a request to us to send the personal data we have in a computer file to you or another organization mentioned by you.

You can send a request for inspection, correction, deletion and/or data transfer of your personal data or request for withdrawal of your consent or objection to the processing of your personal data to henk.akse@traxxys.com.
To ensure that the request has been made by you, we ask that you enclose a copy of your proof of identity with the request. Make your passport photo, MRZ (machine readable zone, the strip with numbers at the bottom of the passport), passport number and citizen service number black in this copy. This is to protect your privacy. We will respond to your request as quickly as possible, but no later than within four weeks.

Traxxys would also like to point out that you have the option of submitting a complaint to the national supervisory authority, the Dutch Data Protection Authority. You can do this on the website of www.autoriteitpersoonsgegevens.nl.

Securing personal data

Traxxys takes the protection of your personal data seriously and takes appropriate measures to prevent misuse, loss, unauthorized access, unwanted disclosure and unauthorized modification. We work almost entirely digitally, in a password-protected computer environment. Our NAS-servers are also password protected and they work with two factor authorization. If you have the impression that your data is not properly secured or there are indications of abuse, please contact us.
